CENTER FOR CHANGE AND DELIVERY MANAGEMENT (CCDM)
 
The CENTER for Change and Delivery Management was created to implement the DISA (Delivery of Improved Services in Administration) Project 2006. During the year 2006-2009 the CENTER provided professional and managerial support to certain departments in addressing their capacity building and change management issues. The CENTER works towards dissemination Good Governance / Best practices across Government departments.
 
Key objectives of the CENTER include:
Provide overall capacity building, training and change management support to government agencies in the area of good governance with focus on pro-poor service delivery;
Work with government departments and other stakeholders to understand the capacity building, training and change management issues and develop appropriate interventions;
Support change management programs in government to effectively carry forward governance reforms and develop a reform communication strategy for wider implementation within the government;
Network with other national and state level institutions working in the area for improving service delivery to the poor
 
The CENTER has conducted several training programs both in generic and sector specific areas to various government departments under the DISA project till 31st March 2009. The CENTER has facilitated conduct of two Training Programs of the Department of Economic Affairs, Govt. of India, on “Risk Assessment Allocation and Mitigation in Public Private Partnerships” conducted by CRISIL on 4-5th and 7-8th February 2008. The CENTER has organized 93 training programs covering nearly 3000 participants during the last 3 years. Currently the CENTER is running a GOI-DFID financed project call “ Capacity Building for Poverty reduction” for the departments of Municipal Administration & Social Welfare, in Medak and Mahaboobnagar Districts respectively. Currently this project is in full swing in Mahaboobnagar District.

The CENTER is also implementing another GOI funded Project of “Training for All”. This project involves intensive capacity building of five departments in one District. The CENTER is headed by Dr. O. Vijayasree, a doctorate in psychology with 25 years of experience in organizational beheviour and HRD areas in various reputed Institutions like IIM, Ahmedabad and Institute for Higher Education, Kano Nigeria.
