| The CENTER for Infrastructure and Investment was created in the year 2004 to look after the capacity building needs of departments involved in development of infrastructure in the State. They include Irrigation, Roads & Buildings, Transportation, Energy, Industries and Tourism |

| The objectives of this CENTER include : |

Organizing capacity building activities for the aforesaid departments. |

Identify constraints and issues in the implementation of various programmes and give guidance to these departments. |

Document the best practices. |

| The CENTER has organized 28 training programmes last year and trained 800 Government officials.in
the State |
