| Its objectives include : |

Provide general purpose Computer Training to all categories of officials of the Government of Andhra Pradesh |

Design and train officials on specific application packages. |

Conduct computer training on usage of Telugu for support level functionaries. |

Coordinate Special Training Programmes on e-governance for Chief Information Officers. |
|
Procure, install, maintain computer hardware including Local Area Network and Video Conferencing facilities in MCR HRDI Campus. |

During 2008-09, the CENTER conducted various training programs including Basic Computer Training Program for NGOs and G.O.s, Training Programs on “Network and System Administration”, “Relational Database Management”, “Web Site Design” and “MS ACCESS”. In all 3371 Government employees were trained by the CENTER in 2008-09. During year, the CENTER collaborated the 8th batch of Chief Information Officers training program with IIM Ahmedabad. The CENTER has undertaken massive modernization of its hardware and revamped the entire Local Area network in the Campus. The CENTER is planning for collaborative efforts with reputed private IT Companies to provide cutting edge IT training for government Officials and for developing e-gov applications for various departments.
